Rite Aid Clearance Section Dinner

Sometimes I love working at Rite Aid. No, seriously. Today was one of those days that I struck gold. It happens every so often, mostly when Rite Aid decides to put a bunch of random stuff on clearance. Mostly I just end up with a lot of some random item I know I’ll need. For instance, I had enough deodorant for about a year because of one of their clearances. I don’t know if every Rite Aid offers the same things on clearance, but if you happen to shop at Rite Aid, here’s how to get most of a fairly decent dinner for about $1.50.

Here’s what I got:
Knorr Alfredo Noodles – 47 cents
Del Monte Corn – 44 cents
Bumble Bee Tuna – 37 cents
Total – $1.24

All you need is a little bit of milk and a little bit of water to cook the noodles. I already had those at home.

Cook the noodles, throw the tuna in, and have corn on the side. It works for me, anyway. I thought it was pretty good. I’m going to go to the other Rite Aid when I have time and see if I can pull this off again. I already managed to get 2 of these $1.24 meals at my store.
